Adverse Weather Conditions General Information

When it Snows!!!

Our intention is always to remain open and provide our child care service, however our first priority, of course, is the safety of our families, children and our staff. If we feel we can open our site in a safe condition we will generally open the Nursery. This involves determining whether or not we can effectively clear the pathways. It also depends on whether we are able to have enough of our staff present to ensure that legal adult to child ratios can be maintained. If that is the case, the Nursery will be open.

If we are to close we will endeavour to provide information on this website as early as possible, on each day by 7.30am.  Please check regularly for updates.  Thank you

Surrey County Council have been working with Surrey Police to make the roads safer.  Surrey County Council have asked us to highlight their website to find out more:

1 in 5 bags of food shopping gets thrown away.

Love Food Surrey is the online home of a campaign to encourage the county's residents to reduce food waste - something that can save money on the monthly shopping bill, as well as helping the environment.

Cutting down on food waste can be a challenge when you’re pushed for time and your kids don’t always want to eat what you’ve cooked for them. The good news is that there is plenty of advice available to help you waste less, which you’ll find on our website.
